COVID GUIDELINES INFORMATION

UPDATED 06/16/21

?From MKP:

Can I-Groups meet in person during this time.

  • In person I-Groups are not prohibited by MKP USA. We continue to STRONGLY SUGGEST that any such meeting to be held online.
  • If your I-Group is considering meeting in person please check with your local, county and state jurisdictions to make sure you are not breaking any official orders by meeting in person.
  • UPDATED:  men’s groups in select locations may receive provisional approval by MKP USA to meet in person as long as they comply with required mitigation strategies and each man dutifully considers his own risk factors before proceeding. Ask your Area Administrator and check the Area Dashboard!
  • If your group is NOT among the provisionally approved locations and chooses to meet in person and act against these recommendations, the individuals who attend do so at their own risk and without sponsorship by MKP USA.

Our Area has a Provisional Rating as Category A:

Category A allows for the per-instance approval of small outdoor trainings/events or peer support group meetings.

  • 15 attendees or fewer
  • 100% of program/instruction/meeting time outdoors
  • No food preparation on site
  • 100% compliance with required Attendee and Coordinator mitigation strategies
  • Non-residential without prior approval, separate sleeping quarters per attendee
